Fishtail Briad

An afternoon spent in the sun braiding hair, eating ice cream and snapping outfit posts. I just needed a daisy chain crown and I'll be complete! So pleased with how this fishtail braid turned out, haven't done one for years so it's a tad messy but I like it :) Full outfit post will be up soon! x

Primark Haul

Denim Jacket: £16, Lace Vest: £10, Floral Pants: £14, Sunglasses: £2, Shoes: £30

Ok I lie, everything is from Primark except the shoes which are from SoYourShoes* But don't get me wrong I've been waiting for Primark to come out with some awesome leopard print boots for ages but the ones they have brought out are either flats (which are fine, but I hate wearing flats because I have such a high arch they actually hurt more than wearing heels!) or naff looking prints which look obviously cheap. And I know the whole point of Primark is cheap, but I love finding gems that I can style and pass off as something more expensive. I very nearly bought the Zara ones a few months back but the student in me couldn't part with £50+ for shoes, so I'm really glad I waited for these to land at my door!

Primark Grey Blazer

Scored this tweed-looking grey blazer from Primark for an uber cool £7 on sale! I went 2 sizes up and got a size 12 for the 'oversized' and 'slouchy' look but looking back at these pictures, they look like the perfect fit! Primark and it's weird sizes eh. 

It's such a great lightweight blazer that would see you the through spring/summer seasons, but the only negative is that it snags on everything! Because the blazer is made up of a woven material (like a scarf), any chains/studs/metal hardware gets caught in it and pulls like a bitch! So you have to be super careful! But apart from that, I love it. Also, a quick shout out to these awesome sunglasses I found at Primark - £2. Maj. xx

Primark Cats Eye's Tshirt

First off this tee was just £6. No words.

I was too late with the hyped up Kenzo Tiger/Givenchy Rottweiler jumper bandwagon, so I got a Primark substitute instead and I think it looks pretty awesome. Light, slouchy and with a hint of royal blue - this is the perfect casual, throw on top of jeans, goes with anything tee and I like it very very much :)

In other news, I have an addition. Everyday after work this week - without fail I've been vegging out on the sofa watching episode after episode of The Rachel Zoe project. Why is my life not as 'maj' as hers! She is everything. x

Last weekend it was my little ol' birthday and I turned 23!
I didn't tell much people about it or organise anything particularly special, I just wanted to keep it low key, go shopping and eat out! Anyone that has ever bought a house will understand how all of a sudden all your money gets prioritised for 'house stuff' and as much as I love home shopping, there was only so many weekends I could spend at Ikea, B&Q and Homebase.
I just wanted to spend some money on meeee for a change, so my only request was that I really wanted to go Cheshire Oaks, and have a massive long browse around all the outlets stores and see what my birthday money could get me :)
As you can see I picked up a fair few beauty bits and I got all these at 30% off the usual retail price! I went in hoping to find 2 things; the Clinique All About Eyes Cream & the Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask. I have used these two before, ran out, tried other things, got disappointed and decided, actually they really worked for me.
So lucky me, they both came as box sets with some other goodies which I haven't tried before but I am super excited to see how they work.

Also there were some owls there. Random I know.
But I got forced by the bf to take a picture with them (note: the first owl picture where I'm stood so far back I got blurred out! haha but what if it started to flap its wings!)
O but then the...owl keeper? asked if I wanted to hold one!? and before I knew it, a glove was on and an owl on my hand! ..... moving on
